A big barrier and a closed parking lot

The parking lot in Lagimodiere-Gaboury park (near the mouth of the river, across from Notre Dame street), has been closed off with big concrete barriers. This is being done to fix the railway crossing and is expected to take a year or more to complete. Until then, this great spot to park the car and put in a canoe is off limits, unless you want a very long portage from the other side of the river near Provencher.
